Summer Showcase Exhibition

The Ferry Artists Gallery are holding their end of year exhibition which will showcase their most current work. Come and see that the creative community at Wisemans Ferry and beyond can achieve and maybe see the perfect gift for Christmas. Many forms of visual art and craft will be featured such as paintings, printmaking, glassware, sculpture, textile art, jewelry, works in wood, stone and pottery. If you come to the opening, you will also be treated to local musical talent. Time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 10.00am-5.00pm. Cost: Free.

An evening with Dr Anne Chalfant. Dr Chalfant is a regular guest on Radio 2GB. She is a clinical psychologist and director of Annie's Centre - specialists in child health and development. The Hills Craft Market 'Christmas Twilight Fair'

Come along and enjoy the fun of our fair. Take a leisurely stroll around and enjoy the arts and crafts offered for sale by our very talented stall holders. Make a day of it and enjoy food prepared by chefs at the mouth watering food stalls. Children have the opportunity to enjoy plaster painting, music as well as riding and playing in the showground. You can be assured of a great day out at the Hills Craft Market where we pride ourselves on quality products which are not mass produced, not imported and definitely not second hand. 4pm-8pm. Free.

Maraylya Christmas Festival

Worlds Longest Sausage Roll Attempt
| Details: |
Glenorie Bakery will be baking the worlds longest sausage roll, measuring 40 metres, and selling off pieces to raise money for charity. Various prizes will also be auctioned including a 45 minute helicopter joy ride around Sydney, and others donated by the generous local business community. Glenhaven Carols by Candlelight

Living books are local people, for all walks of life, with varied life experiences and stories to share. Readers can borrow living books for a 30 minute loan period. During this one on one conversation, books will tell their stories, allowing readers to explore possibilities of worlds beyond their own. Both books and readers will take away deeper understandings of the stories shared. So if you have a story to tell or know of anyone you feel would make an interesting read, collect an Expression of Interest form from any of The Hills Shire branch libraries. Time: 12.30pm-2.30pm.
